Greeting from the President

Chong-Tae Kim,
Ph.D. President

All roads lead to Rome.
he Philippines is the 'Rome of the Orient

The Philippines is a strategically convenient gateway to Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States. Often referred to as the "Rome of the Orient," it provides an ideal environment for Koreans to master English, the global lingua franca. Not only is it a convenient place to learn the language, but it is also a country where one can share the warm hearts and affection of fellow Asians. Furthermore, its geographical proximity to Korea makes it easily accessible, and its warm, winterless climate offers a comfortable environment for both daily life and leisure.

The first step toward becoming a global citizen is, above all, the ability to speak English fluently. To become an outstanding leader for the world, possessing both academic excellence and virtue, one requires professional and holistic education in fields such as the humanities, social sciences, culture, and the arts, alongside rigorous spiritual training.

Above all else, becoming a person of character is more important than any professional achievement. Our institution was established with the purpose of cultivating talented individuals who can contribute to the church and humanity by teaching and researching profound theories of learning and their practical applications, all aimed at nurturing true human growth.

To achieve these goals, our university provides professional education tailored to the global era of the 21st century. We strive to produce Reformed theologians who are faithful to the study of God’s Word and obedient to His commands; who practice love with the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ; and who lead world missions and church growth by relying on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to see these leaders serve Korea and the Philippines today, and reach out to the entire world tomorrow. I sincerely welcome all talented students who apply to our university with prayer and interest.

Today we serve Philippines and the Korea; tomorrow we serve the nations.
